I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my professional and personal life. Some more earth shattering than trying to balance a hot cup coffee while overtaking that self righteous auto wallah.
Debating whether or not mistakes make you a stronger person is a discussion for another time. Ive been lucky enough to recognize the two kinds I detest the most. Namely, the Silly Mistake and the Repetitive Mistake.
A Silly Mistake
A.k.a The Noob. The internet and technology has done a lot of things to our life and times. One of them apart from that instagram filter that makes you look like a Greek goddess is ‘spell check’. I use spell check for a lack of a better analogy. Everything is easier to verify, easier to re-check, easier to be doubly sure about. But, still most of the younger work force doesn’t do it. Making a statement like “Oh did you know Lobsters are immortal” is just silly. Hell, even Google gives you the answer below, which basically translates into ‘a facebook post is not fact’.

So next time, please do us all a favor and re-check what you are working/saying/thinking/doing. Because if a 15 year old with a crackberry can get it right, anyone can.
The Repetitive Mistake
Cheating a bit from “folk” wisdom on this one. This type of blasphemous error is also known as ‘the fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me’ philosophy. Everything you chase after is a dream, a castle on the cloud of ‘what if’ and every time you make a repetitive mistake a little bit of that dream dies.
I don’t know about the rest of ’em but I’d avoid these two like the plague.
