This is my tribute to the heroes of history, the people whose deeds and perspectives have shaped my own and the course of human events. Even though history does tend to repeat itself, there is always something to be learned from those who came before us, and these examples show that.

For the sake of learning from their experiences and maybe yours as well, I have attempted to categorize the lives, teachings, and legacies of remarkable people.
