When you run a brothel of thoughts, letch at ideas that you wish you made and realize that most conversations people have with you end with the, ‘so give it a shot’, ‘what do you think’ or “interesting…but” (irritating), you know you’re a ‘creative’ whore. But that changes when you like the ideas more than anyone else. When you you don’t seek recognition because you know genuinely that what you’ve got is a good one. Whether it lives or dies won’t matter, because it lived in your mind and it was real for the moments that let you see the extent of it’s coolness/awesomeness/beauty. You saw it untainted by egos, the imperfection of reality and cold hearts. That’s when you’re working on ideas you like. The point when you start bringing the unreal into the real and marry the two. That’s when you’re not a creative whore, but a person with ideas. That’s when you don’t “sell” your idea, you share it.
Well said buddy.
